Textbook case of how egregioously bad etiquette should be handled

Last week in the famous Casey Anthony trial, the judge did something wonderful that helped to raise the standards of etiquette in the USA and perhaps around the world.

I'll give you a link in just a moment so that you can watch for yourself on video....

There are so many cases in which society tolerates bad etiquette and lets our standards slip that what this judge did is completely refreshing. We can only wish that more parents acted this way when their children acted up.

More importantly, this case once again shows the need for people like you to continue to spread the word about good etiquette and behavior. Etiquette Trainers play such an important role in society.

In this case, a 28-year old spectator in the murder case of Casey Anthony decided to stand up and make an obscene gesture at one of the attorneys. His actions could have caused a mistrial in a case about the death of a young child, and he made this gesture despite numerous signs in the courtroom, and a lecture about courtroom etiquette, all clearly prohibiting this behavior.

However, the judge put this misguided man in his place immediately, and sentenced him to jail. You need to see the judge's interrogation of this man, and how he made him look totally foolish for what he did. Again, it is so refreshing to see something like this in our society.

Before I give you the link to the video, I ask that, if you aren't already an Etiquette Trainer with Etiquette Moms, that you consider signing up today.  The world needs your contribution to a better
society. If a 28-year old can demonstrate such poor manners, imagine the gaps in the etiquette knowledge of many teens and children in our communities!
